Personal Technology Policy
Following consultation with staff, students and the school association, Huonville High School is considering implementing a policy that will ensure personal devices such as mobile phones are not seen or heard in any classes on the 7 to 10 campus. The ban will not apply at break times, and is designed to minimise distractions and assist the development of a positive learning environment. Our grade 7 program already has a similar policy, which has been successful in allowing students to better focus on their learning.
